In our ongoing Weekly Escape series, we aim to transport you from your desk to an incredible place in two minutes or less. This tiny cabin perched atop a ridge in the French Alps is about as isolating as it gets. The popular Breche Puisseux ski tour route runs up the face of this mountain, and the bravest skiers have the option of spending the night in the hut.
