This Mountaineer Broke a Ski-Touring Record on One of Nepal鈥檚 Highest Peaks

In October 2019, Dynafit鈥檚 general manager, speed mountaineer set out to summit and descend Nepal鈥檚 Dhaulagiri VII. Getting to base camp鈥攍ocated at an elevation of 16,000 feet鈥攁nd then continuing on to the nearly 24,000-foot peak required intense hiking and acclimatization. The hardest part of the challenge, B枚hm says, was actually skiing down the mountain, since he鈥檇 depleted most of his energy getting to the top.
