Located in the small town of Gothic, Colorado, and living in an even smaller cabin, Billy Barr has collected snow data for over 40 years. In an effort to entertain himself, he began meticulously collecting data about the snowpack each and every day. Though he had no intention of serving in a climate change research role, his data has become a critical component to measuring the receding snow season.
