Emmy-winning cinematographer and big-water kayaker Scott Lindgren’s new film Burning Time is a bold new 国产吃瓜黑料-sponsored production that’s been in the making for two years. In it, Lindgren (of Tsangpo-expedition fame: see 国产吃瓜黑料‘s July 2002 cover story ) scours the globe with kayaking’s best athletes, seeking out some of the most radical whitewater challenges ever captured on film. Burning Time features epic footage of renowned paddlers like Tsangpo-expedition member Steve Fisher, and pro boaters Andrew Holcomb, Rusty Sage, John Grace, and Shannon Carroll.

Miles Daisher demonstrates “skyaking”
In addition to great paddling scenes, look forward to a wave surfing session in New Brunswick with World Freestyle Champion Jay Kincaid, and join Miles Daisher for an adrenaline-crazed demonstration of “skyaking.” Then, venture to Alaska, Argentina, British Columbia, and Elko Nevada’s Ruby Mountains with SLP’s first-ever segment on helicopter skiing, featuring Andrew Sheppard, Eric Hjorleifson, and X-Games gold medalists Zach and Reggie Crist.
