This small trailer,聽modeled after a traditional shepherd鈥檚 hut, isn't meant to be towed across the country. But it聽would make a brilliant聽guesthouse.聽
Built by Ontario-based Gute, the is completely customizable. The 7.5-by-15.5-foot聽floorplan can be outfitted with a full kitchenette, then built out with聽modular furniture, such as聽a folding desk, butler鈥檚 cupboard, and combo bedding and聽seating options.聽You can also choose the size of the solar-panel聽bank you鈥檒l need to provide power to the unit. When winter comes, the fully insulated floor, walls, and ceiling trap the heat from the vent-less ethanol fireplace and low-profile electric heater.
One caveat:聽the Shepherd Hut聽has only one room, meaning you won't get any privacy when you need to use the (optional) electric-assisted聽composting toilet.聽
