Last summer, of the high-tech Ultra SST, a bold looking running shoe. But there鈥檚 more to these kicks than just a vibrant upper. The Ultra SST comes packed with high-tech features.听
While the words 鈥渉igh-tech鈥 and 鈥渞unning shoe鈥 don鈥檛 often coincide, the Ultra SST features Vasque鈥檚 new ShapeShifter technology, which allegedly makes for a comfortable, cushioned shoe that doesn鈥檛 sacrifice performance. Vasque stitched the upper directly to the injection-molded EVA midsole, effectively getting rid of the additional layers found in most other running shoes.
By combining the outsole, the midsole, and the insole, Vasque created a shoe that should protect your foot in rough terrain while still having pretty good trail feel. The Ultra SST comes with a new laces-free closure system from Boa and 6mm of drop.
The Ultra SST will be available at select retailers in March.
