Jackson Hole, one of聽America鈥檚 most iconic ski resorts, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with these five, one-of-a-kind, that it聽commissioned from local craftsman Mikey Franco, owner聽of Franco Snowshapes.聽
Franco, who's worked at the resort for 26 years,聽made two swallowtail boards (a 160-centimeter聽men鈥檚 version and a聽150-centimeter one for聽women) from locally-sourced beetle-kill聽pine. Each board bears聽the GPS coordinates for where the tree it's聽made from was harvested, as well as the logo for the 50th anniversary.聽
If swallowtails aren鈥檛 your thing, Franco also made two pintail boards聽and one 鈥58 squaretail.聽You can find the boards at in Teton Village, at the base of the resort.聽
