Why It’s CoolCloudveil rolls a surfeit of nice details into an eight-ounce full-zip jacket made of silky nylon. The fabric is Cloudveil’s own CirrusPlus—a wind- and water-resistant 40-denier ripstop interknit with a lighter 30-denier yarn to give it a soft hand. 禄 It’s quiet. 禄 The collar has a microfleece patch to keep your chin from chafing, the zipper of the external chest pocket runs on a slant so it’s easy to open, and the cuffs are cut at an angle to protect the tops of your wrists when you’re gripping the grips. 禄 Cloudveil patched in panels of double-woven stretch nylon at the hips, under the arms, and on the inside of the cuffs for increased breathability. 禄 Even after 100 washes, the DWR coating will still do its job.
Hmmm . . .Maybe I’m an anatomical freak, but the sleeves of the XL aren’t long enough. 禄 The rain flap over the chest pocket snags in the zipper.
