It鈥檚 finally warming up all across the country (we鈥檙e looking at you, New England). To celebrate, you鈥檒l want ring in the higher temps with bright colors and bold designs. What follows is a collection of our favorite spring-themed kit.

SeaVees Legend Sneaker Mr. Turk ($70)

(Jakob Schiller)

Wear on the street and you鈥檒l get a lot of double-takes; people will look you in the eye and then stare at your feet. It takes a second to get used to, but you鈥檒l eventually sink into the attention. The shoe design is a throwback to 1964, and the pattern was drawn up by Mr. Turk, a brand that is as loud as it gets.

Sunski Madronas Sunglasses ($55)

(Jakob Schiller)

Sunski is a perennial favorite at 国产吃瓜黑料 because their glasses are top-shelf but聽affordable. I personally dig , which blend a classic wayfarer silhouette with blue lenses that stand out but don鈥檛 go overboard. Tech specs include durable polycarbonate frames, polarized lenses, and a lifetime warranty.

Katin Leaves Shirt ($65)

(Jakob Schiller)

Never heard of Katin? You鈥檙e welcome for the intro. As background, they鈥檙e an O.G. surf company based in Southern California and they鈥檝e been making thoughtful, high-quality apparel since the 50s. One of their best designs for this spring is , which captures the surf vibe but doesn鈥檛 scream obnoxious so you can wear it on the weekend or into work.

Howler Brothers El Alacran Snapback Hat ($30)

(Jakob Schiller)

The flat-brim market is so saturated it鈥檚 almost impossible to stand out. Yet Howler Brothers found a way with their that鈥檚 fun and slightly intimidating, all at the same time. The medium-height crown fits most heads and a swath of navy-colored fabric under the brim helps cut glare on the water or in the mountains.

Patagonia R1 TechFace Hoody ($170)

(Jakob Schiller)

Warm spring days are still bookended by cool spring nights, so when the sun goes down pull on the , which is essentially an R1 fleece with a more durable and wind-resistant recycled polyester shell. You鈥檒l love this piece for spring skiing and long backpacking trips, but it鈥檚 also cozy and comfortable by a backyard fire.

Timbuk2 Launch Pack ($130)

(Jakob Schiller)

You probably don't need another backpack, but聽, which I think is a worthy upgrade. My favorite part is that it鈥檚 built from Tyvek, a tough-as-nails material that鈥檚 also stupid lightweight and comes in several fun colors. This 18-liter version weighs in at just over a pound and I鈥檝e beat mine to shit over the past couple months and it still looks like new. Use it as your go-to commuter, or leave it packed with snacks and blankets for Saturday mornings at the farmers market or the beach.
