Mountain House Beef Stroganoff with Noodles ($9)

“When it's pouring rain and you just hiked over boulders with a 30 to 40-pound聽pack for an entire day, 聽are easy to prepare and the beef stroganoff tastes better than it should.聽I can't wait to share these same meals with my kids when they're old enough to camp. Just make sure you're patient and follow the directions鈥攊f you dig into them too fast you'll burn your mouth and the food will still be crunchy.”
Mountain House Biscuits and Gravy ($9)

“聽is really good. Even my wife who likes nothing that I do says it is good. The biscuit chunks are like croutons. The package makes enough for two people with normal appetites.聽It was easy to prepare. After rehydration,聽some of the biscuit chunks were a little crunchy which was a great texture.”
Backpacker's Pantry Pad Thai ($9)

“Backpacker's Pantry makes some of the best trail food that I have ever come across, and , in particular, is downright delicious. So much so聽that I keep an extra bag or two around to enjoy while I am at home. Bravo,聽Backpacker's Pantry!”
Good To Go Thai Curry ($7)

“This camping food is really good鈥攊t's hard to express exactly how good. My wife and I really enjoyed 聽but we love all of the Good To Go meals. These are made by a Michelin star chef in Maine and it really shows by how well spiced the meals are.”
Good To Go Herbed Mushroom Risotto ($7)

“I'm vegan and it's difficult to find great tasting dried camp meals鈥攗ntil now! I loved the flavor of 聽and it filled me up. My only recommendation is to let it sit 10 to 15 minutes longer than the suggested cook time. Some of the risotto wasn't fully cooked but it was so good I didn't mind! I can't wait to try their other meals as well.”
