FILM SYNOPSIS
Inge Wegge (25) and J酶rn Ranum (22) spent nine months of arctic Norwegian winter on one of the most fun and ironically warming adventures you’ll ever see. The two young men built themselves a cabin from drift wood and washed up materials, all while collecting trash to clean the beach. Eating expired (free) food from the grocery store, they suffered through cold surf sessions and celebrated warm nights in their tiny cabin. North of the Sun is produced and edited with a deft touch and is just one of those unique films that will you have you smiling from beginning to end. 46 minutes
North of the Sun has garnered much critical acclaim over the last year and picked up awards including the Grand Prize & People’s Choice at Banff Mountain Film, Best Documentary at the London Surf Film Festival, Best Film at the Canadian Surf Film Festival, and many others.
