The Australian Maritime College is in Wave Pool Design to one lucky surfer/graduate student. The scholarship is part of three year grant the college received from the Australian Research Council to pursue the technology that would produce a constant supply of surf-worthy waves.
To get the scholarship, students must be able to “conduct the necessary physical and numerical experiments to ensure thatwave surfability can be optimised at minimal energy expense.”聽 Australian Maritime will work in cooperation with both and Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands.
