American skiers have taken four events and posted a total of six podium finishes in World Cup races since last week. Lindsay Vonn won in Alberta, Canada completing one of the best weeks of skiing of her career only days after announcing that she and husband Thomas Vonn would divorce. Vonn’s U.S. teammate Julia Mancuso was third in Friday’s downhill. Bode Miller on Friday, his first World Cup victory in nearly two years. On Sunday, Ted Ligity was a close second in GS behind Austria’s Marcel Hirscher.
