Later in the afternoon, Jamaica’s Yohan Blake won the men’s 200 meters in 19.26, the second-fastest 200 in history behind only Usain Bolt’s world record 19.19. Blake famously won the 100 at last month’s world championships after Bolt was disqualified for false starting. (Bolt, dodging Blake, opted for the 100 on Friday, winning in a credible 9.75.) Minutes earlier, American Morgan Uceny notched her third major 1,500 victory of the season secured a world number-one ranking at 1,500 meters for the year.
