If any skiers ever needed motivation for learning video, they have it. On Thursday, Teton Gravity Research announced a new online video contest with a grand prize of $100,000, called . Athletes will upload their videos to , users will vote on edits, and judges will award the winner a whole lot of money.
“We really wanted to make a statement with the prize money,” co-founder Steve Jones told of . “We want this contest to have as broad an appeal as possible so we put together a prize that was meaningful and was going get people excited about spending an entire season filming, editing and putting these segments together.”
