Colorado's will host its eighth annual Beacon Bowl and Avalanche Awareness Day聽 on Saturday, February 6, according to . The event, benefitting the , was developed by A-Basin鈥檚 ski patrol to teach and test skills for thebackcountry and to raise awareness about the dangers of avalanches. The day will include the Beacon Bowl, an avalanche transceiver competition, avalanche-related demonstrations and clinics, a raffle, silent auction and apr猫s ski party.
