On Monday, a Florida-based deep-ocean recovery team announced the discovery of a British ship torpedoed in the North Atlantic during World War One that holds $19 million in silver. The Odyssey Marine Exploration corporation found the SS Mantola 8,000 feet underwater, 94 years after it was sunk by a German submarine. The discovery is the announced by Odyssey this year. Last month, the company discovered another British wreck carrying聽silver . Salvage operations for both wrecks will begin in 2012.聽
