A Juneau man faces an unusual DUI after he was found to be intoxicated while . William Modene, 32 was picked up on the Chena River at around 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, where wildlife troopers said he blew a 0.313, a blood alcohol level four times the legal limit. 鈥淢odene had been floating on the river for the day and consuming alcoholic beverages the entire time,鈥 troopers recorded in the police blotter. Under Alaskan law, driving under the influence includes the operation or navigation of any sort of vehicle or vessel. Modene was arrested without incident and released Monday on $2,500 bail.
