A black Angus bull that escaped from its owner in July is still on the run in Milford, Connecticut. Wildlife officials believe the bull, appropriately named Waldo, is living with a pack of deer on private land. He has “grown considerably,” since July and now weighs 700 pounds. An attempt to coral Waldo with a metal fence in late November failed when he rammed through it. Officials are now organizing a posse of 20 volunteers for another try at wrangling Waldo. If captured, he will likely move to a farm in a rural part of the state.
