Alpinist and photographer Jimmy Chin filmed much of the 2014 documentary Meru while tacked to the 1,500-foot-tall Shark鈥檚 Fin rock wall, the final section of the 21,850-foot Meru Peak in India鈥檚 Gharwal Himalayas. On Saturday, the 2015 Sundance International Film Festival .

Chin, who spoke with 国产吃瓜黑料 before the film鈥檚 premiere, initially tried to climb the peak in 2008, only to be turned back by severe weather 100 meters from the summit. Despite his vow never to return, Chin set out for the summit again in 2011 with alpinists Conrad Anker and Renan Ozturk.
