Dutch cyclist Marianne Vos won the on Sunday in Koksijde, Belgium, becoming the winningest rider in cyclocross history at age 24. Vos, who has lost only one race this year, defeated runner-up and countrywoman Daphny van den Brand by 37 seconds. U.S. cyclocross champion Katie Compton was fifth after a poor start and a crash. Belgian riders swept the top seven places in the men’s race, led by winner Niels Albert. U.S. rider Jeremy Powers was 26th.
