American skier Hannah Kearney on Saturday in Alberta, Canada. Kearney, the 2010 Olympic gold medalist, took a decisive victory over 17-year-old Canadian Justine Dufour-Lapointe. Kearney in Lake Placid, New York on January 19. Canadian Mikael Kingsbury won the men’s competition, pulling a double back flip and a 720 in the finals. Kingsbury, with five straight wins this season, is approaching Jeremy Bloom’s record of six consecutive wins, set in 2005.
