Authorities at the U.S. Capitol arrested filmmaker Josh Fox on Wednesday as he attempted to film a congressional hearing on fracking. Police have charged Fox, who was not carrying a media credential, with unlawful entry. Barring journalists from public hearings . Fox’s 2010 film, Gasland, explored the growth and safety of hydraulic fracturing and was highly critical of the natural gas industry. It received a 2011 Oscar nomination for best documentary.
