Over the past few months, 国产吃瓜黑料 readers submitted their tails of adventure and altruism to be considered for our “Volunteer Vacations” project in partnership with USA Weekend magazine. We’re glad to say we’ve received some great, heartwarming stories from people who gave back to the communities they visited.
Readers we heard from studied orangutans in Borneo, built an orphanage in Nicaragua, rescued otters in Guyana, worked at a dental clinic in Guatemala, restored a Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, and assisted a search and rescue team in the Ukraine, among other honorable endeavors.
To read these stories and other accounts of how volunteer trips changed people’s lives, look for our article in the September 12 issue of USA Weekend magazine.
Thanks again to everyone for your wonderful submissions!
