Reece:聽I tell people to be your own nutritionist and pay attention to how certain foods affect your body. It聽doesn’t have to be hard or extreme. If a food聽doesn’t make you feel right, try something else.

Hamilton:聽Right! The biggest mistake is to rely on outside sources to tell you what to eat. Listen to your body. The healthier you are, the more sensitive you鈥檒l be to foods that are bad or good for you. Reece:聽We begin each day conscious about what we’re putting in our bodies. It’s basic, but it’s a healthy routine that starts both of our days off right.

Secrets to Success

Reece:聽There鈥檚 a quote used by presidents and politicians, “Never complain; never聽explain,”聽that I lean on to guide me through life. I used to care so much more about people鈥檚 reactions. But I learned to say no聽more often without feeling the need to offer a bunch of excuses.

贬补尘颈濒迟辞苍:听Here鈥檚 one: Avoid watching the news on TV unless absolutely necessary, like to get information on a natural disaster or something. It鈥檚 so easy to get sucked into things you see that won’t further your life. Second, don’t hang out with people that don’t make you a better person.

Reece:聽We tell our daughter this tip, and we live by it as well: Try things that make you uncomfortable. That鈥檚 the only way you’ll learn and grow.
