The scotch was produced by the acclaimed Mortlach Distillery in 1939 and poured into a first-fill sherry cask. Over the next 75 years, it picked up notes of dried apricots and pomegranate, as well as hints of spice and creamy vanilla. It finishes with a smooth, smoky flavor.聽
Nearly as impressive as the scotch is the teardrop-shaped decanter that was handcrafted with 75 etched cuts, each representing a year of the whisky鈥檚 maturation. Only 100 of the vessels were聽produced, and each comes with two matching crystal glasses and a leather carry bag.聽
