Kick off winter and the start of ski season by joining Warren Miller鈥檚 SNO-CIETY.
The tour for the 76th annual film launches October 18 with a special World Premiere of the film at Abravenal Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hundreds of showings will follow the premiere, spanning the U.S. and Canada. Some events will feature giveaways, others will have surprise guests, and all will create a sense of community and stoke around our favorite season: winter.
Warren Miller鈥檚 SNO-CIETY is a celebration of the spirit of winter, no matter how you connect to the snow. Smile over the ridiculous contraptions created for Diamond Peak Ski Resort鈥檚 annual , or Mountainfest/Preston and Steve鈥檚 both featured in the film. Get inspired by athletes who have given their lives to the slope, like Breezy Johnson, a Saalbach World Champion who hopes to add 鈥淥lympic champion鈥 to her list of titles soon, she told 国产吃瓜黑料.
We caught up with Breezy Johnson, who captured what SNO-CIETY is about in a few words: skiing as peak existence. 鈥淩acing and using 100 percent of your body, resisting forces and skiing fast, and 100 percent of your mind, to see and plan how you鈥檙e going to carry speed and continue going fast, is the feeling of being truly alive,鈥 she shared.
SNO-CIETY follows other athletes like Daron Rahlves, Britta Winans, Judd Henkes, Sarka Panacochova, Chris Rubens, and Juho Kilkki around California, Colorado, and New Hampshire to Austria, British Columbia, Finland, Scotland, and more.
From big mountain lines in places like remote Alaska, to race gates, to Finish urban ski spots, SNO-CIETY rekindles a love for being outside through the coldest months.
Here鈥檚 where you can catch the film on tour.
There are multiple viewing options in most states, and in Canada. Explore your area to find a showing near you. Note that ticket prices vary by venue, as do ticketing fees.

国产吃瓜黑料 caught up with, Robin Van Gyn, professional snowboarder and founder of (RnD), a backcountry freestyle event in British Columbia, to talk about its debut in 厂狈翱-颁滨贰罢驰.听RnD was created to give female riders opportunities to push boundaries, gain exposure, and build community like the ones highlighted in the film.
鈥淚t is a community and a competition,鈥 Gyn told 国产吃瓜黑料. 鈥淚t can be two things at once if you have the right environment. In my own experience I always thrived in a fun, competitive atmosphere, and felt progression happened when I wasn鈥檛 intimidated, but rather inspired.鈥
