places, adventures, discoveries, health and fitness, gear and apparel,
trends, and events that define the active lifestyle, is hiring a digital editions designer. This full-time position with benefits is based at
Mariah Media/国产吃瓜黑料 editorial headquarters in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Translate print issues of 国产吃瓜黑料 (12 monthlies, plus two Buyer's Guides) to digital platforms, including iPad, Kindle, and Android, as well as create semi-regular digital-only issues of these platforms. Imbed videos, audio recordings, and other enhancements into issues. Consult with issue sponsors on the creation of separate advertising units.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Strong command of InDesign is essential. Some digital or interactive design experience is a major plus, as is a basic familiarity with HTML and video and audio editing. All digital editions are built on the MagPlus platform; past work with these tools is ideal but not required.
