Skylar Kraatz is a writer and gear tester based in Crested Butte, Colorado. She鈥檚 guided rivers across Southwest Colorado, from the Dolores to the San Miguel, and has twice ventured down the Big Ditch (aka the Grand Canyon). When she鈥檚 not on the river, you鈥檒l find her exploring alpine lakes in the high country. In the winter, you’ll find her on the slopes of her home hill, Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
