On average, the town of Bergen, Norway gets 242 rainy days a year. Not an ideal choice for one of the biggest cycling races of the season. But when you consider the mountainous coastal roads, the Bergensere鈥檚 passion for cycling, and their outspoken, often brash local patriotism, it starts to seem like the perfect location.

I made my first trip to Norway this spring to document the quieter side of BASE jumping. So much of the imagery I had seen was this wide angle, GoPro-style photography, usually accompanied by a Red Bull logo and a speed-metal soundtrack.
