

Junnelle Hogen
Junnelle Hogen is a freelance journalist covering the outdoors, social issues and personal narratives. She has freelanced for USA Today, and worked for regional newspapers in the Pacific Northwest. Since 2021, Junnelle spent time developing natural foods brands in California. She has run marathons, 50ks, and 35ks for several years with a women鈥檚 trail running team, and led regional women鈥檚 climbing partnerships in Northern California. Junnelle has traveled to 11 countries in Europe, covering young impact policy issues for BBC Radio 2 partnerships. She currently focuses on medical policy and is set to publish her first book about recovery from a 65-foot climbing fall, Begin, Again, in 2027.
