John Briley has shared his tales of outdoor adventure through numerous publications, including The Washington Post, National Geographic, Los Angeles Times, USA today, SKI, Powder, Men鈥檚 Journal, and InsideHook.
His quest for adrenaline has found him kitesurfing a remote Brazilian river delta, snowkiting a Norwegian glacier, wreck diving off of Cape Hatteras, mountain biking the Grand Mesa in Colorado, skiing up and down a 14,000-foot peak and, most grippingly, co-piloting a family.
Briley has never met an outdoor adventure that, in hindsight at least, he didn鈥檛 enjoy. He agonizes over every verb and transition in his writing, along with most adjectives, which he鈥檚 told qualifies him as an artist.
