Joe Erbentraut is a writer and editor based in the Chicago area. His work has appeared in the Village Voice, Fodor鈥檚, Thrillist, Block Club Chicago, Taste of Home, Windy City Times, and INTO. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin鈥檚 School of Journalism.
Joe is also the author of Queering the Burbs, a Substack newsletter and zine project exploring pop culture and politics. He lives in Batavia, Illinois, with his husband, a very vocal black cat, and a sizable vinyl record collection.
