With its spectacular cliffs rising straight out of the Andaman Sea, downright cheap accommodations, and several year-round climbing schools in Getting there means flying into Phuket and then taking a bus or taxi to Krabi; or, opt for the more scenic route and hop a southbound train from Bangkok to Surat Thani, an easy bus or cab ride from Krabi.
