Late-summer weather in Sitka, Alaska
Question: What are average temperatures in the Sitka, Alaska, area in August and September?

国产吃瓜黑料 Adviser: In a nutshell: August days usually see highs of 62 degrees, with lows in the 50s. September in Sitka–well, in all of Alaska, actually–signals the approach of winter, and you can feel it in the air. Expect highs in the mid-50s and lows around 45. Most important, bear in mind that this is the temperate rainforest, with “rain”
the operative word. August can be one of the wetter months, and by the second week of September things can get downright “iffy,” says a Sitka spokeswoman. As always, though, weather in Alaska is at times fairly unpredictable, so be prepared for all extremes.
