Kayaking Annapolis in August Question: I will be in Annapolis in late August and would like information on renting kayaks. Any information would be helpful. Thanks. Start with Spring River Kayak Rentals (410-263-2303) in Eastport. They have a dock right out back, so you can pay your dues and paddle away. Rental prices range from $15 per hour to $60 per weekend for a single On weekends, Spring River offers instructional tours through a company called Outdoor Excursions. Meet at the store, where instructors will outfit you with all the gear you need, then you鈥檒l head out onto the bay for an hour or so of instruction. The cost is $37. Prices range from $7 per half-hour for a single touring kayak to $10 per half-hour for a double (additional hours are $7 (single) and $10 (double). Amphibious also offers full-day natural history tours and two- to eight-day camping trips on the Annapolis Outdoors Ltd. out of the Marriott Hotel in downtown Annapolis offers guided sea-kayak tours every day except Tuesdays. Basic tours for beginners ($35 for adults) are two hours long and explore Spa Creek.
