Finding a guide for a Nepal trek
Question: I would like to go to Nepal, and have about 30 days to trek. I would like to try an October 1998 trek to Kathmandu, Lukla, Mount Everest base camp, etc. Any information on U.S.-based guide services that you recommend?

国产吃瓜黑料 Adviser: Because I鈥檓 not familiar with what kind of shape you鈥檙e in, how much money you鈥檇 like to spend, or what you鈥檇 like the focus of your trip to be, the best way for me to help you is to list a couple of the better-known companies that offer extended trekking in Nepal. I suggest you call their toll-free
numbers to obtain a catalog so that you can get a better feel for what each company offers. To my knowledge, all of these companies have operated for a number of years in Nepal and have a solid reputation, but make sure that you get from them a list of former clients who can vouch for the trip. One month is a long time and a lot of money, so be sure you get satisfactory
answers to every one of your questions before you sign on the dotted line.
