Built in 1890, the was once a post office and a decrepit storage shed, but you鈥檇 never know that now. After a renovation, the wood-and-stone cabin reopened in January as part of the Bright Angel Lodge. Its salient feature is the view鈥攊t鈥檚 mere steps from the Grand Canyon鈥檚 South Rim鈥攂ut the interior is comfortable, too, with a historic brick fireplace and hardwood floors.
