Our gear editors scoured the floor of聽Winter Outdoor Retailer 2018 for the most interesting products under $50. Here鈥檚 what we聽found. Look for聽these products on the shelves starting in fall 2019.聽
Goggle Soc ($15)
We often times聽find the most practical gear is also the simplest and the Goggle Soc (above) is just that. Made from recycled plastic bottles, the “socks” are designed to stretch over almost any sized goggle, protecting the lenses from scratches. We dig the fun prints,聽like avocados, pineapples, and ski trail maps.
Osprey Daylite聽Waist Pack ($30)

On your next hike or ride, ditch your big pack for the two-liter Daylite聽Waist pack, which is just big enough to carry some snacks and a rain jacket. It features two聽zippered pockets and an interior mesh organizational pocket.
Klean Kanteen聽8 Ounce Sippy Cup ($18)

We don't see a lot of聽kids'聽gear at the show, so聽the cool designs (think聽sea creatures and unicorns), on these聽sippy cups caught聽our attention. The feature that really makes the cup special?聽A metal latch that flips down, making it easier for kids to drink without it hitting their noses.
Darn Tough Outerlimits Ski Sock ($28)

Go into any ski shop and they'll聽tell you that you should only wear聽thin ski socks under your boots. That's right, but聽thin also means less cushioning.聽Vermont-based Darn Tough found the sweet spot with the Outerlimits, only putting padding聽where you need it, like the toes and shin, and keeping the rest of the sock svelte. Like all Darn Tough聽products, they come with a lifetime guarantee.聽
Kavu Snack Sack ($45)

Bring a few cold ones and some lunch on-the-go with this six-pack-sized padded, insulated cooler bag. A top handle and removable shoulder sling make for easy carry, while the external zippered pocket offers space to stash utensils, napkins, or a bottle opener.聽
