This week, we scanned Amazon鈥檚 bestseller list for outstanding reusable hand warmers, then pulled the most useful and authoritative reviews for each.
Zippo Refillable Hand Warmers ($15)

鈥溌爄s a pretty neat little thing. When I go out in cold weather聽I generally just dress warmly so I don鈥檛 need a heater, so the primary use for this for me would be in an emergency situation. It strikes me as much more reliable than the plastic hand warmers and the fuel could also be used to prime a fire in an emergency situation.鈥
EnergyFlux Ellipse 5200mAh Rechargeable Hand Warmer ($24)

鈥淚 suffer from Raynaud鈥檚 syndrome, meaning that my fingers turn white even at only slightly cold temperatures. I鈥檓 an avid runner and especially have trouble with my fingers going numb after a run. 聽has really helped. I keep it in the car, plugged into the inverter so that the car battery recharges it while I drive. I switch it from one hand to the other to keep my fingers from going numb on the way home. The warm metal conducts the heat to my fingers much better than holding them in front of the hot air coming out from the car heater.鈥
HotSnapz Hand Warmers ($22)

鈥淚鈥檓 so glad I found ! I had reusable hand warmers as a kid and hated the thought of using the disposable聽ones. These may not stay warm all day, but they are far and away better than filling up a landfill just to keep your hands warm. Once activated, I鈥檝e found that they stay warm, if not hot, for at least a couple hours as long as you keep them in an insulated pocket or glove [and they reset when you boil them in water].鈥
Fourheart Reusable Hand Warmers ($22)

鈥淚 am just stunned at how effective 聽is! It gets hot in maybe 15 seconds or less. It lasts for hours (at least six on the lowest heat setting) and it charges pretty fast. I haven鈥檛 used it as a power supply because I have something else for that, and it鈥檚 not what I bought this for. But for a personal warming device, I just can鈥檛 stop gushing about it!鈥
Zippo Rechargeable Hand Warmers ($27)

鈥淚鈥檝e tried a few electric hand warmers and have been less than happy. The batteries either don鈥檛 last long, or they just stop working altogether after a few uses. I figured the Zippo brand would be worth a shot and 聽is awesome. Legit four full hours of heat on the highest setting!鈥
